I am Peter Höljö. I am Swedish, and for nearly 30 years I have explored wellness, recovery and the ways in which the body can regain greater freedom of movement. This was never an abstract pursuit. It began with my own pain, physical limitations and search for a way back to a more active life.
That search eventually brought me to Japan, where Scandinavian simplicity met Japanese precision. Through years of learning, collaboration and daily practice, the philosophy behind Dr·Medic began to take shape.

2009 · Stockholm
A decade of autoimmune disease. Inflammation, exhaustion, a working life slowly reduced to survival. Western medicine offered names for the symptoms, but no return to the body I remembered.

2013 · Tokyo
A first journey east. Japanese physiotherapy, micro-current science, and a culture that treats the body as a system to be tuned, not a problem to be solved. The first sessions did not promise. They listened.
2015 · Tokyo, residency
Years embedded with Japanese doctors, physiotherapists and engineers. The Dr-PRO platform was patented. A way of working with the autonomic nervous system was encoded into hardware, eight quiet minutes, performed the same way every time.

2018 · Self, daily
I treated myself, every day, for years. Inflammation receded. Sleep returned. Skin, posture, recovery, the markers of age moved in the opposite direction. Today I live, and look, decades younger than the number on my passport, not by accident, but by practice.
2021 · Dr·Medic, founded
What took me a decade to find is built into the device and the garment. The intelligence is in the hardware. The discipline is in the ritual. The freedom belongs to whoever is willing to keep the practice.
